I am a PTUK registered and qualified play therapist and creative arts counsellor. I work with young people aged 6 to 18 in my peaceful garden studio, set between Cranbrook and Tenterden.

 

If your child is struggling: with anxiety, big emotions, a difficult transition, or something they can't quite put words to — you're not alone, and neither are they.

Life is full of challenges and although many of these can be managed within families, sometimes it can help to seek professional support. I offer play, art, and creative expression as ways 'in', especially when talking alone isn't enough. Younger children often show us what's going on through play long before they can explain it in words. Teens, too, sometimes need a way to process what's happening that doesn't feel like an interrogation — creative work gives them that space, alongside more direct conversation as/ when they're ready for it.
